YAMAGATA Artists-in-School
“YAMAGATA Artists-in-School” is a project that sends out artists to schools in Yamagata city to allow them to have classes or workshops.
We carry out this project with the hope that young generation who will bear the future of Yamagata city can have opportunities to experience culture and art to nurture their creativity.

TAKASE Elementary School X Photographer Teresa C. FREITAS
We sent out Teresa C. FREITAS*, photographer from Portugal as an instructor to Takase Elementary School, and she held a workshop on color.

NISHI Elementary School X Film Director NAGAOKA Hiroaki
We sent out NAGAOKA Hiroaki*, film director to conduct a filmmaking class in their Integrated Studies class at Nishi Elementary School.

NAGAOKA Hiroaki, Representative Director, ＴＲＹＡＮＧＬＥ Co.,Ltd. （Video production company in Yamagata city）
NAGAOKA Hiroaki was born in Yamagata city. After working for a production company in Yamagata city for about 20 years, he moved to a television station where he was in charge of news coverage and production during his 25 years broadcaster life. He is now independent and has started his own company, ＴＲＹＡＮＧＬＥ Co.,Ltd. In addition to supporting program production for NHK and commercial broadcasters, he also works as a “video creator”, producing movies, corporate promotional videos, and social media videos.

YAMADERA Elementary School X Film Director NAGAOKA Hiroaki
We sent out a film director NAGAOKA Hiroaki who lives in Yamagata city as an instructor for 5th and 6th grades students in their Integrated Studies class at Yamadera Elementary School, and he conducted classes for the creation of Yamadera tourism PR video.
