Yamagata Renaissance Project

This is a project to produce a series of films that will introduce the appeal of Yamagata’s traditional culture through new and contemporary eyes and offer young local film talent a chance to hone their skills. As a part of this project, the Yamagata City of Film supports citizen screenings by providing these films for FREE. Each film has the original Japanese version and the English subtitled version.
