Yamagata City of Film organizes a monthly event named Creative Café, where people in Yamagata can exchange opinions and get to know each other without concerning the differences in age, sex, and nationality.

There are two types of 2019 Creative Café:

1. an event inviting a guest speaker from culture or film section to talk, discuss or do a workshop
2. a screening to introduce works made in Yamagata City

18：30 〜 20：30　A screening event with the Grand Prix winner of 2018 edition

• Take “Benichan bus” to “Honcho” bus stop and 3 minutes walk to the venue
• The Yamagata Manabikan Free Parking was closed due to road construction. Please use public transportations or public parking to reach the site.

CONTENT

The YAMAGATA Drone Movie Contest Executive Committee has annually held the YAMAGATA Drone Movie Contest to build recognition of drone camera and to create new business opportunities.

In collaboration with the contest, July’s Creative Café introduces the eight short-listed works from the 2018 edition inviting the Grand Prix winner.

Mr. SATO Naoki

Born in 1965 in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. He moved to Yamagata and established a limited advertisement design company named “Man Create” in 1989. He has started nature photo shooting and drone movie business since 2017.
