Yamagata City of Film organizes an event named Creative Café, where people in Yamagata can exchange opinions and get to know each other without concerning the differences in age, sex, and nationality.

There are two types of Creative Café:

1. an event inviting a guest speaker from culture or film section to talk, discuss or do a workshop
2. a tea time providing a space and a cup of tea for people to sit and talk about different themes

The most interesting part of this project is that the council staff take each turn to organize the event so that every event is unique and different!
