In Cambodia, a wide range of filmmaking has been taken place.

Cambodia Film Commission has been contributing to nurture young filmmakers and promote its film industry.

Mr.Chandara had worked for Cambodia Film Commission since its establishment.

He studied in Universite Lumiere Lyon 2 and finished his research on “The Impacts of Foreign Shooting on Tourism Industry in Cambodia”. Currently, he has been studying film business in Busan, Korea, to develop mutual cooperation in filmmaking in Asia.

For this time, he is visiting Yamagata City to see his wife, who is currently working for the office of the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival as an intern. We take it as a great opportunity to learn about films in Cambodia and seek for further collaborations.
